Our Purpose

Mission Statement
To provide surgeries and check-ups for deformed children in Nigeria and to train Nigerian medical personnel to do the procedures.

Our Purpose
In Nigeria and other African countries, millions of children have inherited or acquired deformities that doctors can surgically correct, such as the following:

  1. Cleft Lip
  2. Cleft Palate
  3. Jointed Fingers
  4. Jointed Toes
  5. Burns
  6. Scars
  7. Other Congenital Deformities

Few humanitarian organizations have arranged for doctors to correct such conditions in Nigerian children. However, when humanitarian organizations arrange for the corrective surgeries, the surgeons typically travel from other countries, such as the United States and United Kingdom, and are consequently unable to stay for long periods of time. This has been problematic because many these children fail to receive routine check-ups after their surgeries.
Also, many foreign surgeons lack the time and knowledge of Nigerian dialects to properly train local medical personnel to do the surgeries or the check-ups. We established the Aranmolate Foundation to help resolve this situation. The foundation arranges for Nigerian surgeons and surgeons from neighboring African countries to provide corrective surgeries for deformed children in Nigeria and hopefully in other African countries. These surgeons train local doctors and medical personnel to do surgeries and check-ups. The foundation also provides the children emotional help.

The Aranmolate Foundation strives to provide free adequate care for African children with deformities.
